Meet Kiki
A community where every child can thrive.
Food for Thoughts of Hancock County is guided by a simple belief: feeding children strengthens families and builds healthier communities.
Kiki
Meet the heart behind FFT
Kiki welcomes you to the people and purpose behind the work.
A hunger-free Hancock County.
Our story
From one school to nearly 300 students.
Food For Thoughts began in 2013 at Carthage Primary School. For more than a decade, volunteers faithfully packed and delivered weekend meal bags for children who needed extra food at home.
Today, FFT supports nearly 300 students and is building on that trusted work through Food for Thoughts Pantries located in local schools and developed with River Bend Food Bank.
