Mission

Feeding children. Strengthening families. Building healthier communities.

Vision

A hunger-free Hancock County.

Our story

From one school to nearly 300 students.

Food For Thoughts began in 2013 at Carthage Primary School. For more than a decade, volunteers faithfully packed and delivered weekend meal bags for children who needed extra food at home.

Today, FFT supports nearly 300 students and is building on that trusted work through Food for Thoughts Pantries located in local schools and developed with River Bend Food Bank.
